friendly If you want you see the sights the best way of getting round is by the canal bus. You can hop off and on the cost was 18.50 euros for a day and half. The Dutch Resistance Museum is a must as is Anne Frank.

Single room is very narrow. I am also not a fan of "wet rooms" to shower because everything gets wet. The place is neat and clean. The stairs up to reception are quite steep but the hotel offers to carry your luggage up when you arrive and back down when you leave. The location of the hotel is excellent as is the service provided.

Would definitely stay here again. The stairs up from the front door are very steep, but the climb is definitely worth it. Wonderful service, extremely friendly staff, spotless room, a balcony to watch the world go by, and the perfect location opposite the Westerkerk. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

I did not like Nadia hotel it is very very small, the room too are not comfortable, in the breakfast room we don't have big choises to eat in the morning, the stairs are very very hard to use it. The manager and the staff are very very bad, they don't have a good service for the guests and they are not available to listen to them, in the reception the manager and the staff still talking between them and don't do attention to the tourists waiting for informations.

Too loud I had requested a non-smoking room because I am allergic to smoke, I had booked my room weeks in advance. When we checked in the hotel was full so they weren’t sure they could give me a non-smoking room, which they didn’t. They did give me a bigger room than I had booked. The only problem with the room is it faced the main street and was only one floor up from the ground. It was incredibly noisy and we got no sleep. Also, everytime a guest wants to come into the hotel they have to ring a buzzer to be let in, and then climb the many stairs. We heard it all. When I complained in the morning I was basically told, "oh well, you got a bigger room than you booked."

Only 1 night, but I'd go back again! Having visited a friend in the eastern part of the Netherlands, we came into Amsterdam to spend a Friday, and overnighted at the Nadia Hotel so as to be closer to the airport on Saturday morning. I knew about the long staircase, but there are handrails on each wall. You ring the buzzer outside to be let in, and someone comes right down to carry your suitcase for you. All 3 people we dealt with in reception were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very tasty and you could have as much as you wanted. We had a standard room (#4) on the 1st floor with a view of the canal & the church. It was compact but comfortable. The bathroom was a decent size and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!! It was like having a nice massage after a long day of walking around the city! You could hear the trolley from down below, and the church bells chiming, but that didn't really bother us. We traded a bit of noise for a lovely view. The airport shuttle bus that was arranged for us was right on time the next morning. I hope to return some day for a longer visit.
