+ Five minutes walk from the centraal train station. - Poor wall isolation; one can tell when the neighbors return to their rooms early in the morning.

+ Excellent location: city centre + proximity to train station - Too close to a curch that likes banging those annoying bells...

+ Has to be its location, 24hr reception/bar, secure, free internet + free pc to use at bar if you dont have a laptop, lifts, friendly staff. - 1)stayed there 4 nights and not even once our bed linens got changed or room cleaned despite us letting our concerns known to the staff. 2)rooms do not look as good as the ones shown on the pictures on the hotel website 3)breakfast isnt worth the money 4) no soap holder in shower - bit annoying

The luxer hotel is fantastic for the young and middle aged. Although it is located on ae extremely busy street which is full of cafe bars (and we all know what that means), the hotel itself is very quiet. The staff were lovely, they were always helpful and chatty when you went through reception. Given the party I travelled with, my 22 yr old nephew (full of devilment and wanted to explore everything Amsterdam has to offer), myself a 36 year old going on 16, and my partner a 50 year old banker, this hotel managed to suit all of our needs. Thank you for a truly remarkable stay. I was reluctant to recommend this hotel as next time we visit, we hope it is not fully booked. NB Pricing I only gave as a average due to the fact that nothing in Amsterdam comes cheap because of the strength of the Euro. The hotel itself is one of the best value in Amsterdam especially when you get a late deal from this site.

No restaurant and it was raining hard so got very wet to obtain dinner. Otherwise comfortable room in good location with charming, enthusiastic staff.
