The rooms and hotel were beautiful and luxurious. The room service was excellent. The bathrooms were beautiful, loved the shower!! The spa was nice and the breakfast was delicious. Expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. The locaion is just okay...there is an excellent resturant across the canal. It is the little boat, it's a nice treat for dinner.

This is a great place to stay in Amsterdam. The location is great - next to a lot of cool sites and right on the river. The rooms are nice (nothing too special, but nice). The bathrobes are GREAT, though. It is close to the Bulldog Cafe, too.

+ Great location, beautiful decor, good service - Breakfast service was late on a regular basis by more than the time range predicted by the hotel menu, and items were usually missing and had to be requested again.
