The Hotel's location is rather remote but serene; in a rural village - as honestly stated in the Hotel's brochure. A first time visitor to Amsterdam that has business or other interests in the City may find this location a challenge. However, at day time, public transport connections are good and the Hotel staff were eager to explain how one could around. I found the staff friendly, considerate and helpful.

+ The hotel shuttle was perfect and right on time making our trip to the airport very smooth and efficient. - One had to seek out new towels and toilet paper. no room cleaner came by between nights.

+ Wanting to see the charming little town but was raining, the man at the reception desk lent me an umbrella. - Difficult to get in touch w/hotel as they are not listed on the phone list at the airport. no phone # on the website but found it from info at airport and someone outside called for me.

    - Couldnt find the shuttle at the airport because its in another platform. you should add "platform b14" to the hotel information!

TV tuning was very difficult and no English speaking channels seemed to be available. Breakfast was unexciting. No plugs in either the handbasin or the shower. The duvet/cover seemed to have no changeable outer cover and we felt it was not washed between customers. Wife was bitten 10 times during the night by something, not a mosquito. I don't know what the area is like for pricing, but it seemed quite an expensive hotel for a fairly average service.

    - Shuttle driver drove too fast and did not consider passenger comfort at all times

+ We felt welcome and had a very good night's sleep. the breakfast offered was adequate [however, the enthusiastic waitress removed our glasses with juice in them before we were finished]. an adequate facility. - We were unable to locate complete seatbelts on the seat behind the driver. not being able to use the shuttle [at a nominal cost] to get to other places is a problem as there is no other transport and when you are an international guest you are stuck there with no possibility to go anywhere else. please note that the main purpose of our stay was to connect with another flight [that category is not included in the question relating to the puspose of our stay.
