Hotel Travel
Beursstraat 23 - 1012 JV Amsterdam
Travel Hotel is located in the very centre of Amsterdam, just on a few minutes walking distance from the central train station. The Dam Square, Royal Palace, the famous canals and the major shopping street are just around the corner. The Flower Market, the Anne Frank House, all kinds of bars, restaurants and clubs are within walking distance. Because of the structure of the monumental building we are housed in, none of our rooms are the same, but all are simple and clean and equipped with washing facilities and television. We have singles, doubles, twins, triples, quads, as well as five-bedded and six-bedded rooms. Apart from basic rooms with shared facilities we also have rooms with private facilities. Breakfast (not included) is available in our cosy 24 hours bar. Check in starts at 14.00hrs but early check in may be possible if the room is available. Check in is until 00.00hrs (midnight). All arrivals after midnight must be reported in advance. Arrivals after midnight, which were not reported, cannot be guaranteed.

+ The location was excellent, close to station and all the main attractions. the staff were also helpful. got clean towels daily. basically its a cheap hotel and you get wot u pay for. - We were put on the 5th floor, with no lifts and spiral stairs it was a nightmare walking up especialy when stoned. the bedding was not changed at all during our stay. would be nice if they provided breakfast in the morning too. room was also small with lots of windows but no view. oh yeh and the church bells constantly ringing every half hour but u get used to it. overall i would say its ok for short stay.

+ Cheap, functional and nice room. good for the price, and one of the few places with family rooms. - Very noisy at night.

+ Quite clean and service is good - Tap in our room was leaking, shared bathroom between too many people, waiting times can be long

+ Location was great, 2 mins from train station and in the busy red light. 24hour bar was a bonus for one final quiet drink. staff at reception were helpful. best shower iv had in amsterdam in 3 years! - Room could have been updated/cleaned a little better i.e the tap in the room constantly dripped and walls had stains on. tv had no volume so was on constant loud so never watched it.

+ I met friendly people. - There are so many stairs, and no elevator. there are no towels and no soap to wash your hands with.

+ Perfect location, fair price for the room, 24 hour bar - No cheap nearby parking, ended up paying £130 to park a car for 2days 12 hours, the one advertised on the hotel is a 15 min walk away, the room actually could've held 8 people so 2 of our group didn't actually need to go and get another room.

+ Good location, good walking distance from main areas of amsterdam. - It was dirty, the room was very cramped and the walls and curtains were stained. the light fitting was full of cigarette ash and there was loads of rubbish under the bed. the room was one of the cheapest we could find but even so was still very overpriced for what we got.
