Hotel Torenzicht

What a dissapointment. ?28 each for 4 of us in one cramped room. Mice in the bar, (no one seemed to care), and toilets which were appalling. Say hello to the crack dealer who always hangs around the entrance... Theyre making a fortune for providing a shithole

+ location and value for money together with friendly staff - Cleanliness requires a lot more work.

+ The staff were very pleasant,the bar had a good atmosphpere,and although the showers are shared they are really nice. the hotel location is great too. - The stairs are crazy but almost everywhere in amsterdam has stairs like that. the beds werent very comfy but who cares!

+ Clean, mostly friendly, right in the middle of the red light district - Arrived friday night, check in took a long time as the bar staff (one) also do the check in. also, the night barman wasn't that frienly, but hey, he's probably used to a load of drunken a**holes. also, breakfast time is restrictive 9-10 a.m.

+ The closeness to everything that's going on.

+ Great location - Only 1 cramped toilet/shower for the whole floor.

+ freindly staff the night porter was exallent

+ Room was clean good location good breakfast - Room was clean but headboards on bed were crawling with bugs had to remove spoiled hotel as everything was great for what we paid ,be aware this hotel is in the red light district not for the faint hearted would not advise for girl groups very scary at times

+ The staff made me feel like a member of their extended family. i will stay at the torinzicht again on my next visit - No

+ location, the staff are friendly and they make you feel safe. i was surprised to have my own toilet in my room, i thought it will be a common toilet but it was not, i have my own private toilet, that means a lot.
