+ It was so close to everything we needed and very easy to find. - The fact that the rooms were meant to be cleaned between 11 and 2, but actually weren't, we went out most days and got back after 2 and our room hadnt been cleaned! not that it was that messy!

Not as Advertised I've stayed in many hotels in Europe and this hotel's pictures are misleading. It is not very clean and I didn't think the hotel security was sufficient.

+ Not only is it close to central station but right beside the main shopping area of amsterdam as well. it's close enough to everything in the red light district that you can walk anywhere but it's out the way enough that you don't have all the crowds and noise coming from there. the rooms are basic, well kept and the breakfast isn't bad either.

+ A very nice, smaller hotel in a convenient location. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side.

+ The hotel was excellent and the staff very good. they were still doing renovations but it never caused us a problem. ideal place to stay right in the centre. - Would have been nice to make tea/coffee in our room.

An average hotel! The reception area/bar was very satisfactory, and the staff were helpful, and, of course, spoke very good English. The breakfast area was rather cramped. The room was reasonable, but on the small size, not large enough to accommodate all the furniture comfortably. I reported that there was no plug in the washbasin when I arrived, but nothing was done about it. One guide book referred to the fact that all the rooms in the hotel had baths, but mine only had a shower. The location was convenient for the station and for the efficient tram system. Reasonably good value for money; I discovered that Amsterdam is not a cheap city to visit.
