+ Hello there... i stayed in hotel keizergracht with my cousin and his friend. we found it on easy to book and we were in fact looking for a cheap hotel. and for the budget that we had in mind,,, what we got there was enough for what we were paying. the room was nice, comfortable bed, extra pillows and blankets. i was able to use their kitchen cause we had our own herbal tea to drink. so the staff was friendly as well. if your planning on staying in hotel keizergracht that means your not planning on spending your honey moon there, instead your going to discover amsterdam or something along those lines,,so its great for what your paying. walking distance from most coffee shops, 5 mins away from central station which will benefit you a lot. we stayed there for 6 days and it was great! we hardly stayed in the hotel which will be your case as well.. only went there to sleep and rest... which is provided.. :) enjoy amsterdam!

+ The location of the hotel was good & easy to find. it was really only a place for us to crash (ie cheap) so it pretty much did what it said on the tin. the bathroom was surprisingly good & the shower was excellent. they did change the sheets daily also. - The room was a bit ropey in places ie the carpet & wallpaper. the bedsheets were not the best (leopard skin print anyone?). the building appeared to be having some work done but there they never seemed to be doing any. therefore the view from the room was a lovely one of some scaffolding! we had to leave before 7am to go home but couldn't get out as the door was locked & it took an eternity to knock somone up to come & let us out. can't really complain though because it was so cheap.

+ Cheap, good location (but away from the noise!), staff. - The front of the hotel was a building site.. scaffolding etc which we wern't told about. the hotel's decor is in need of some major updating... tiger bed spreads on the bed.. no really tigers! not a hotel for a romantic getaway!
