Not impressed Shop for hotels - tourism is weak and deals are offered if you shop.

From the door man to our exit, this was a great experience. I came upon this hotel in a search to house our son prior to surgery. Choosing two queens proved to be invaluable. My husband, son, and I had a perfect sleep on the "delicious" beds. ...

Not impressed The hotel room for 2 adults was uncomfortably small and the bed was old and worn out. The staff was generally unfriendly and not helpful. We discovered that several other hotels in the area were much more luxurious for a small increase in rate. Fine Hotel Cordial staff, nice hotel, the location was a little seedy, but close to great restaurants and the Leisdeplein. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks This has to be the last hotel in Europe to include a full breakfast.

Nice Hotel - Good Location Room was rather small, but it was only me so not too bad. It is europe! Free breakfast, which was decent.. good location, and the public trasportation is excellent.. Oh watch out for the Bikes, they go faster than cars there. Staff is very friendly, didnt like the fact that you have to leave your key at the front desk, but i guess too many people have lost their keys, so i understand. I would stay here again, but i think next time i will try a diffenrent location. Just for the fun of it. almost everyone speaks english, and most amsterdamers are extremely nice when asking for directions, just greet them properly and they are more than happy to help. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Use the Tram system, you can get anywhere you want with public transport. only issue is if your are parting till late night, trams stop at midnight. but from one point to the farthers point, is no more than a 25 min walk. best thing for lunch is to go the supermarket buy a sandwich and some fruit and just sit and watch the people go by
