Nice but Pricey The Hotel is a lovely old building with very spacious rooms and is fantastically situated for Amsterdam. While I found the facilities to be excellent, the dining was very expensive, and I felt the Hotel was over-priced in relation to what I received out of it.

+ Reception and porters were exceptionally good - Service in the bistro was extremely slow especially as i had told the waiter i had to go someone at a certain time.

We were very surprised to see how small the swimming pool was - about the size of a baby pool. The impression you get the swimming pool on the web site is misleading. Since the availability of pool was one of the important reasons we chose the hotel, we (our children) were disappointed.
