Hotel Bellington
P.C. Hooftstraat 78-80 - 1071 CB Amsterdam
Hotel Bellington is a 2 star family-run hotel in a quiet neighbourhood in Amsterdam, close to three of the city's main museums. In fact, the neighbourhood is known as the Museum Quarter, because in the same area you can find the Van Gogh Museum, the Modern Art Museum and the Rijksmuseum. The Leidseplein, where you'll find theatres, bars, restaurants and cinemas; and the Casino; are both within a five minute walk of the hotel. Also, Vondelpark is just at the end of the street. Metro lines 2 and 5 both pass by within just a few steps of the hotel door. This is a small hotel, with just 11 rooms, so you'll be well taken care of. You can stay in either a twin, double, triple, quad or quint room. All of the rooms have private bathrooms, except for the double rooms which have shared bathrooms and a sink in the room. The rooms are spacious and neat, with simple, classic decoration. You'll find all necessary amenities in your room and in the hotel, like hair-dryer, children's cots (extra charge), satellite TV, left-luggage office and TV lounge. Also, the generous breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The Bellington Hotel combines comfort and affordability in a lovely part of Amsterdam.

+ Good, safe location. nice value for the money. very friendly staff. good breakfast. recommend to young travelers. - The stairs were quite the hike to get to the room. also, the hotel desk is in a building beside the actual rooms, so sometimes that was pretty inconvenient. not a good hotel for mature travelers.

+ It was a quite environment though the street had a lot of designer shops in it. The deluxe room we stayed in was really ok, much more ok than we expected. - nous avons ensuite payé une nuit sur place, et elle était plus chère, bien que sans salle de bai

+ Near the beginning of the historic city centre and situated in a fashion shop street - The stairs were steep and the steps were narrow (no elevator)
