+ Beforehand we were worried about the new location but in the event we found that although the location was'nt as good as before it wasn't a problem and there was good fast services to central station. - Not enough coat hangers.

The location of this hotel is perfect for those who want to dump their bags and hit the town. You can walk from the train station to the hotel in about 3 minutes, it is literally right there. No need to get a tram or taxi or lug your bags into the city. Plus, it's always easy to remember your way back because it sits just on the edge of the city by the train station, you will never get lost coming home after a long night out on the town drinking, smoking, or both. The hotel itself is pretty basic, the rooms are somewhat small considering that it is a boat and there's only so much room. However the staff is cordial, the services are good and the price is right. I've stayed there 3 times and basically only went to my room to sleep and shower. There's so much to do in the city, I see no reason to stay in your hotel for anything other than that. A canal-side view room is recommended, a little more $$, but definitely worth it.

Just wish it hadn't moved across the river. It is still near the Central Station but there is a ten minute Ferry Ride which isn't bad. The room and the service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone. The food was also great!
