+ Our room was very small - in the loft and the shower room was tiny, but it was very clean. we didn't need any more though. the hotel is also very well situated. about 15 minutes walk to dam square but there is a tram stop right outside the hotel. - The price was very expensive, but it seems like all the hotels in amsterdam are very pricey. our neighbours came back at 4am in the morning and did not settle down before 5am. the walls are not very sound proof and we could hear everything.

+ We found the hotel to be ideally situated, very clean, polite staff and we will be using it again in the future.

    - Upon payment of the proposed room rate, there was an additional 4% credit card handling charge applied on top, which there was no information about what so ever. if we had know this, we would have choosen another hotel, since the total amount, with the "credit card" handling charge, where closer to the rate offered by many other, better hotels.

+ Clean rooms, friendly staff - Tiny room first, second room ok. expensive, not 3 star hotel by any means, more like backpackers with private bathroom.

My flight to Amsterdam was cancelled do to an air traffic controller strike in France. In spite of this exceptional circumstance, the hotel denied me any refund. Please, be aware, and stay away from this hotel.

+ We had the room with the wonderful, romantic, sky window looking out on the stars! the bathroom was spotlessly clean. - A kettle was supplied but no cups or tea/coffee??

+ The staff are very friendly and helpful, giving you information about things to see and do in amsterdam without having to ask them. they handed us maps and brochures and imformed us about local transport. the central heating in the room has got a thermostat, so you can choose the room temperature by degrees (celsius, so even though it was freezing outside it was lovely and warm in the room.

+ The working skylight in the room. - Think the price was too steep for the room/ services. Other 3-star hotels nearby had similar rates but nicer/better facilities.
