Frisco Inn Bar Hotel

+ Friendly staff, easy to find, excellent location, safe in room, large room (deluxe double) - Staircase is treachorous, but managable, door didnt lock, two single beds instead of the double we paid for

+ The hotel is modern very clean, staff are friendly and helpful. location is ideal if you want to be in stumbling distance of the pubs and red light district. the nicest hotels we've stayed in out of six and one of the cheapest. - Very noisy till approx 4am in the morning both weekdays and weekends. safe in room didn’t work, no hair dryer, twin beds pushed together as double but mattresses kept slipping off base!

+ Its location is convenient. the staff are nice. - The stairs are so steeved that it is definitely not suitable for old people and travellers with heavy and big luggages. a nail on the stair even poked my nike air shoes and one of them was totally damaged.

- The room nr 8 have the window in a skylight at 2 meters from the opposite building window. at 3 meters down there is a conditioned air unit from a coffee shop, which means that the "clean air" in the room is pure marijuana smoke. and the corollary, near the conditioned air unit there are 4 big refrigeration units from the hotel which a making an inssupotable noise non stop. be aware of the room nr. 8 ! better sleep in the railway station.

+ Cheap n with basic facilities,centre location,environmental & energy conscious ,friendly staff, - Staircase is too steep n small, tight small room, no telephone

+ Central to every need, extremly clean,very quite within the hotel at night,staff were lovely and friendly, borrowed hair dryer, iron etc. breakfast in the bar was amazing, came back from staying there on the monday and booked up again on the tuesday morning loved it. - Nothing

+ The staff was very sweet, helped us out with any problem - We were promised a safe, we could not find it in the room.

+ Good location to station and very good loction of amsterdam sights and nightlife staff were very helpful and friendly at all times good breakfast - Stairs are very steep very noisy due to location of hotel if you want some where quit stay in the outskirts od amsterdam

+ The frisco inn couldn't be located in a much better area. about 5 minutes from the central train station, it is within walking distance of just about every major point of interest in amsterdam. the setting is extremely laid back with check-in at a fully stocked bar. the bar tenders/concierges are extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms are comfortable if not sparse, but somehow perfect for the setting. - If you have any difficulty with stairs this is not the hotel for you! the "dutch stair case" is obscene with a heavy suitcase. fun if you can handle it though.

+ The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the location was excellent- right on the fringe of the red light district. we felt quite safe. the room we were in was quite large and the room was very comfortable- lots of windows for good airflow in summer. good selection of tv channels. - The stairs leading up to the room were very steep and quite dangerous- like walking up a ladder- i would advise against choosing this hotel if you had a large and heavy suitcase, or no one to help you carry your backs, as there is no lift.
