Not bad for a short stay Hire bikes, and get lost on them! You can always find your way back as people are very friendly, and it lets you discover parts of the city off the guide book - plus you feel truely Dutch!

Where do I start? Well the entrance of the hotel is quite nice. However, when we got to our room it smelt of heavy, stale smoke. (Smokers room). Looking outside the window the windowsill were covered in smelly cigarette butts. The rooms are far too small. There was hardly any room to open the bathroom door as it hit the bed. The bathroom was not properly cleaned. Stale soap water on the shower glass door. We asked for a sandwich, (room service), the receptionist made us one but WE had to come downstairs for it. Do not know why. I think it was staff shortage. They are hardly any staff during the evening. Air conditioning was null in our room. God help anybody who slepps in that small room during the summer. Even having windows open did no good. The night before we were leaving the lift had broken down. We were on the fourth floor, the top. The stairs were so steep I do not recommend disabled people to use this hotel. When the lift is broken there is nowhere to go. We had to carry our heavy luggage all the way down the stairs. The only positive comment is that it is nr the town centre. Not a happy customer and not worth the money!!!

OK The hotel was disappointing insofar as there was no bar attached to it. The room looked good but I found that there was no underblanket on the bed - the sheets were just placed on top of the mattress - I think this rather unhygeinic. Breakfast was a bit disappointing becuase the only fruit available was tinned fruit salad. I had the feeling that the hotel was trying hard, but still had a fair way to go to be of a good all round standard.

The entrance in the hotel was really quite nice and the breakfast was good. The rms were small but ok. No air conditioning and it was warm. My husband and I both got mosquitoes from the open windows and they did not spray. I came home with 50 bites. The toilets would not shut off for at least 10 minutes. It was close to shopping.

+ Friendly staff, very helpful - We used room #6. the door could not open and there was ample to no airconditioning. with 4 persons in the room that is not healthy nor pleasant. furthermore the door of the room and the bathroom need oiling. but, good room, plenty of space and nicely located in the hotel (downstairs).

Ok, but hopefully you don't get noisy neighbours have one of the rooms middle to back of the hotel to minimise road noise on the front. All rooms except the front look at brick walls, but there is a good gap between your window and the wall.
