+ This is a very basic hotel but for the price we couldn't expect much more! don't look here for luxury but the location is excellent and the city is amazing. it had everything we needed and expected, for the price we paid. a perfectly fine hotel for those with the smallest budgets. - Our room had cracked walls in the corner and was very small but it did the job!

+ Good location - Walls are very thin. can hear everything in the rooms around you. sleeping not very easy with all the noise, and banging doors.

+ None - Room tiny, poorly equipped, dingy, no internet in room although advertised on website. grossly expensive and extremely poor value. would never consider staying there again.

Rooms cramped, renovation work going on in lobby. The hotel is only good for it's location on Damrak.

This hotel is very close to the train station and not far from the red light district. One thing though, it does not have a lift so it's not fun climbing Amsterdam stairs with large suitcases.

+ Location and hotel staff were very positive. - At the first day the shared bathroom in our floor did not work but the hotel staff managed to fix the problem on the next day.

Whilst this hotel was well located, it was noisy, (coming from other rooms) very cramped and very average for the price we paid. This was one of 9 hotels we stayed at on our world tour, all around the 3 to 4 star rating and this one was the only one that disappointed us. We will not be recommending this hotel to our many travelling friends.
