+ Very friendly staff who went out of their way to accomodate us. location was very good, within walking distance to centre but also just next to a tram stop if you don't feel like walking. apartment was clean and comfortable. - The stairs was steep and winding so not for people with walking difficulties but it was fine for our group.

+ Location was good and exactly what we wanted. - The web site did not reflect the true image of the hotel. facilities in room were poor, booked for double beddded room and got two singles together. if had know what it was like would have booked somewhere else.

+ This hotel has a great location and very freindly manager - There was some confusion as to the price of our room as we changed the dates and had to pay more, and asked over the phone but were not told about this increase in price.this at first really pissed us off but we ended up staying for a few days less and found a cheaper place 5 mins away for the rest of our stay anyway so it worked out for the best. management was also very helpfull and apollagetic.

+ We had an apartment which is separate from the hotel. it had been recently been refurbished and was to high standards. the rooms to the apartment were light and airy and were very clean. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay in amsterdam. the location was excellent and the staff were very obliging. - The only negative thing was the noise from outside. the windows were very thin and you could hear every noise from outside. there was building works being carried out on the building across the road - which involved the use of a drill very early in the morning!

+ Clean, centrally located hotel. very helpful staff. great sized family room and really appreciated being able to cook for ourselves given that there was a small kitchen in our room. - Our room was on a road on a major tram line and busy night life. very difficult to sleep with the noise - windows could do with double glazing! our charge didn't match up with what we were informed by easy to book so ended up paying more money - not great!

+ The staff are lovely, particularly the owner who is friendly and has the cutest dog. when we got there we were upgraded to an apartment instead of the 4 bed room we had booked for just a little more money. the location is excellent, you can walk to everything or take a tram. - The noise level in rembrandtplein at night is pretty bad and it is almost impossible to block out the noise, since the hotel is right on the square. breakfast was just ok--cheaper than going out, but that's about the only positive thing i can say.

+ The best location in amsterdam. right next to the best part of rembrandtsplein, surrounded by great restaurants, escape (one of the most renowned clubs in amsterdam) and a tasteful yet small park where you can go and sun bathe to kill some free time if your tired of walking around the city. the location itself is just the best. the staff are very helpful, they answered all our questions about how to get to specific places, they even helped look up where we got our coach to get to the ferry, which wasn't even anything to do with them. - The breakfast isn't superb, but it is still great, and overall the hotel isn't "fancy" - but it is still great :). ideal for groups of young travellers, students, families and older couples. i would expect honeymooners would want something more exotic.
