+ Fantastic hotel. staff was very efficient (although they did give me some bad directions on taking the train to the airport). room was very nice (corner room, very good size). breakfast was really very nice (great wafels, good variety for americans). really outstanding hotel. - Only issue was the location. very far outside of the center. walked to the dam one evening at dusk. was not comfortable when i walked through the museumplein park by myself, but everything was ok.

+ Excellent central position allowing us to see much of amsterdam in the short time we were there. - Our room was very small and someone had obviously been smoking in there fairly recently.

+ Staff were helpful ,the food was good , - There was a hole in bed sheets, shower screen was awkward in the bathroom and there was black mould at the bottom
