    - My online booking didn't work at all ! we were lucky to get 2 small rooms (3rd floor) quite noisy for the same price (100 euros each a night). an advice: check on your reservation before arrival !

+ Tasteful room decor, quality furnishings, excellent location for museums - Room itself was quite small but shower room was too small with nowhere in the shower room or bedroom to hang a towel. this was a shame considering the quality of the shower room fittings. breakfast expensive considering everything was self-service. with no trays available, several trips required to collect drinks, cutlery etc.

Scaffolding covers the building, construction site litter and machinery everywhere. Construction noise, traffic noise, and the fiirst floor smells like human waste... no wonder they chose brown carpet and upholstry. If this is your idea of home go ahead and book this place. I prefer pleasant surroundings even when I stay in the museum district.

I booked four rooms for my friends for this trip. We paid for the rooms at check-in. After check-in, we were told to bring our bags down the street to a separate building, that we wouldn't actually be staying in the main hotel. We'd be staying in a...

+ Staff very friendly. - We were put in one room, however our cards to get in did not work, when we checked them with reception, we were told we had been given the wrong room number. luckily we did not have to move.

Best Location I visited the Apollo Museumhotel in Amsterdam during the summer of 2008. The hotel was still renovating while I was there, so the condition of the hotel wasn’t so pleasant. However, the modern room was clean and comfortable. And the biggest plus was the location of this hotel. It is located next to Rijksmuseum. I would definitely refer this hotel and stay here again when I return to Amsterdam.

+ Nice bathroom, a little small, but i enjoyed the rain-style shower head - I stayed for one night before i flew out early morning. i heard about their new restaurant, so i had planned on having a nice, quiet evening in the hotel and eating at the restaurant. however, i was surprised to find out (i was not told, i had to ask) that the restaurant was not open that night. so instead, i had to walk around at night, alone (as a single female) instead of being able to eat at the hotel.

We arrived to find scaffolding all over the hotel. Our room (which was on the scaffolded side of the building) was not adequate. The floor and ceilings were stained, the walls and window filthy. The bed and bathroom were clean. We were woken before 8 by
