We had a wonderfull time. The rate we got quoted online was the rate that they honored (Euor 69). Plus the staff was very helpfull. We arrived early in the am and they let us check in. They also let us have breakfast even though it wasn't covered for that day. The area is a quiet and safe residential area and the location is 15 minutes by tram from downtown. The tram stop is 5 minutes from the hotel and tickets are freely available. The rooms were very clean and maintained well. The access was a bit cramped, narrow steep stairs, small elevator but then most places in europe is the same way. All in all, a great place for a great value. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again on my next visit.

I wanted to stay out of the hustle and bustle of central Amsterdam and I found this gem of a hotel in a quiet neighborhood out past Museumplein. Since we rented bikes during our stay, the ride to central Amsterdam, the Rijks and the Van Gogh museum were short rides. The rooms are quaint and the streets are quiet. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

Would go back. basic hotel: our room was economy with tin beds. very satisfied with the service and cleanliness. easy access to museum area. Rooms decor modern, could be a little more lively in color. Desk clerks, some were better than others; a smile and response goes a long way for tired traveler ro who is trying to get around. Plenty of informatio n available, phamplets. breakfast was satisfactory, could variety and fresh produce.

Rooms are newly renovated and well decorated. I needed restaurant recommendations and transportation arrangements, all of which the front desk was able to assist me with. The price can't be beat for the location, service and amentities.

I would've loved this hotel had we known of the guest per room limit. Do not, I repeat do not expect to book a two bedroom room and get four people in it. Not worth the hassle with the unfriendly staff.

The hotel is really located in a very calm and nice area. The atmosphere is extremely homely, if somebody like hotels offering privacy it can be definitely recommended. I felt myself really home.
