We were very positively surprised by this hotel. It is very well located, close to the train station and yet 2 min walk from the main pedestrian throughfare. Our 3-bed room was actually a 4-bed room with two bed up on a mezzanine level. This gave it almost the feeling of being 2 rooms. The bathroom was excellent and the breakfast was good as well. All in all, very recommendable.

Great central location, small but very clean rooms. The Avenue Hotel was a fantastic room for the price. Located between Central Station and Dam Square it is a great place to stay if you plan to walk the city. Staff was friendly and the price was 1/2 of some of the other hotels in the area. The rooms were small, the bed took over half of the floor space, but the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast at the hotel offered a good fresh selection of meats and cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, 1" pancakes, cold cereal and juice. Overall a excellent value. Traveler's tip on recreational activities At central station visitors infomation stand there is a free walking tour of the city twice a day.

We only stayed for one night and it was a good stay. Rooms were clean. There are no TV's or phones in the rooms. There is an outdoor pool and there is a playground for kids to play on. Really close to the Badlands.
