+ Staff very helpful. breakfast excellent. free internet access. room very clean. i would certainly go back and would recommend hotel to others. - Room smallish and lacking in storage space but hotel still good value for money.

+ Good location quiet but only round corner from night life, resturants & trams + boat bus stop. - Amsterdam overall is a very expensive place.

+ The hotel alexander is in an excellent location 2 mins walks from the leidseplein which is full of everytihing you need. it is amazing value on price. we stayed in a quad-room which had everything we need including to our suprise a fridge and a safe. the staff were extremely helpful and polite both during our stay and on the phone prior to our trip. i would highly recommend the hotel alexander to anyone visitng amsterdam.
