+ Good location quiet but only round corner from night life, resturants & trams + boat bus stop. - Amsterdam overall is a very expensive place.

On a quiet part of Vondelstraat, excellent location, easy walk to museums and Leidseplein, friendly and helpful people. Small room. Nice breakfast. WiFi (free). Lift was not working all 4 days of our stay, so had to huff and puff up and down. Not so great when hauling bags and luggage. Overall, a pretty good place to stay.

Convenient to city centre, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Narrow corridors, steep steps and tight corners for those with suitcases. All down to the design of the building.

It was not mentioned that the price will be higher when paid by credit card. It should be noted on the site so that I could prepare cash. The shower did not drain and the water spread all over the bathroom. This problem was solved immediately, but was surprising. First night, I had a backache cleaning up the bathroom! Some at the reception was very friendly and helpful, but the man at the check out did not speak English well and was not helpful.

+ The location of this hotel was excellent! it was easily within walking distance to everything i wanted to see and the block was nice and quiet. the hotel staff was very friendly. i would definitely stay here again. thanks for a great vacation experience.
