the hotel has a perfect position but it is nothing special. the room was small but ok. the staff is a bit strange and breakfast isnt really what it should be like...

Greatest place to stay in Amsterdam. Have stayed in Amsterdam before but hotels were usually disappointing. Hotel Ajax is nice and clean. I will definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends.

The position is perfetc but the rooms are really small and poor. And you must pay the bill at the check-in!

Nice and clean hotel on a great location. I enjoyed staying in Amsterdam and this hotel is far better than the places I stayed before.

The hotel Ajax is probably the most uninviting and inhospitable hotel we have stayed in. On the bright side it encouraged us to see more of Amsterdam, as we dreaded going back to our hotel room.

When I left your hotel my wife and I went to Paris.We had a room 3 blocks fron Notre Dame Cathedral at hotel De Grande Ecole for $105.00 euros per night.There is no comparison between Ajax and this hotel as to price,location, etc. I have learned that I will never book a room through the internet ever again.My wife and I had invited my cousin and her husband to stay with us at Ajax as they live in the Hague but when they saw the room and the location they refused.My wife and I were not impressed

I will never again go there as well as I will not recommend to anyone to go in this hotel. 1.paying in advance for the whole stay in the hotel. I came in the hotel, not in the red light district 2.price indicated was not price what I paid 3.no electricity in the hotel for the whole day 4.room in the rotten state 5.no light in the bathroom 6.once found room opened 7.tv set broken 8.no batteries in the remote controller of tv set 9.unpleasant guy at the reception desk 10.I have ask to speak with the hotel manager but he did not want to call for him Total overview: accomodation like in a stone age (cave environment)
