Place was clean, nice, all new. We had even a possibility to cook a dinner since there was a kitchen/dinning room complete of everything needed for cooking. Before coming we didn't know it, so it was a great surprise.

Maurizio was very helpful and provided us with the one floor suite. It was really a small apartment with all the amenities. We were travelling with good friends so sharing the bath and apartment with them was no problem. It would be awkward with strangers The location was super, just off the grand canal. The fully appointed kitchen allows for cooking if you so choose. We enjoyed our stay. We were not at Ai Tre Ponti, I beleive the name was Nunzo.

hotel staff very friendly and speak english. one room is much smaller. (ask for the biger room) you can hear everything at night and have to be very careful opening and closing doors, or toilet ect.

Hotel ideally situated if arriving to Venice by coach transfer, as it is five minutes walk with baggages to the coach station in Piazzale Roma. Extremely quiet, good facilities (bathroom, kitchen area). Friendly and efficient manager who readily accommodated our request to stay another night by moving new occupiers to another room (they were friends, he told us!). High recommended and great value for money. Hotel suitable for a wide rage of clientele (young or more senior couples), particularly if budget is being reserved for the visit of Venice itself.

This is a very good place to stay if you have planned a quick trip to Venice. It is walking distance from Train(St.Lucia) and bus station (Pz.Roma). You do not have to take a boat from St.Lucia stop unless you want to - unlike what is mentioned on their web-site! If you are walking from the train station it is just another 10 min. walk and 1 big and 3 small bridges to cross. We booked for a double room with external bath and the bath room was very clean and as people have mentioned before there were tell-tale signs of dead mosquitoes in the bed room. The house we shared had only 2 rental rooms so essentially we were sharing the bathroom with only 1 another double room occupants. Therefore it worked out very well. There is a Kitchen with fridge and stove but it seemed like the stove was not working. Also, I dont think the heating worked in the house but it was luckily not very cold when I went to Venice in 1st week of January 2007. All in all for the price you will be paying and the amount of time you will be spending in a hotel room esp. when you are in Venice(!!) this place is a deal! VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: pl. call the 800 number of venere.com and get the AiTrePonti phone number just in case you get lost in Venice!!! This helped us a lot when we were trying to find the place in the first place. Also DO NOT LOOK FOR A SIGN SAYING 'AI TRE PONTI'...! the check-in place is a hole in the wall and says 'tourist information'!! and 'ai tre ponti' means 'three bridges' so it is close to where 3 bridges meet close to Pl. Roma.

Room with nice view. Near bus terminal and train station. Recommend family to book both rooms on 1/F - they got a nice kitchen and dining room.

The property was conveniently located near the main bus stop and train station in Venice. Neighborhood was nice, less touristy and crowded than most. Maurizio, the property manager, was polite but not too helpful. We had lost baggage on our way to Venice, but Maurizio would not make himself available for baggage delivery if it was outside his office hours - which were odd. Our room (#10) was clean, but small - about 12' square. It overlooked a canal which gave it a nice view, but also made it noisy in the morning during boat rush hour. Breakfast was nearly nonexistent with a help-yourself continental breakfast of packaged croissants and biscotti with some juice. The property should be categorized as an apartment, not a B&B.

Ai Tre Ponti has a very suitable location when arriving by car, train or boat (about 200m to walk with luggage). The rooms are too small for 3 people (good for 2) and the additional bed was poor. Furnishing was good. It calls itself a bed & breakfast, but since breakfast is very poor it is just good for a night's sleep. Therefore it is a bit overpriced.
