Trattoria Pontini for cheap excellent food. Easy walking access to all sights. Go to the old chemist in Strada Nova, and Ca D'Ora for art and sculpture, easy to miss down a tiny alleyway off strada Nova.

Great & quiet room with nice bathroom, easy to find location right next to the railway station Breakfast quality could be improved somewhat

The welcome and staying was really good, we had a good support and they also speak spanish (our language). Thanks for all, if we go Venice some time again we'll go for the same hotel.

Excellent location very close to the railway station! Fantastic breakfast! The church bell just outside the hotel will not let you stay in bed late :)

+Great location, nice hotel, great staff -The beds are extremely hard and there was a bell that chimed right outside of my window at 07:15 and then again at 08:15. It was incredibly loud and rang for about a minute (literally) each time.

Everything superb except for bells of the near church jingling at 7 oclock in the morning every day!!!

Wonderful place.Even better staff.Very welcoming. Convienent location.Excellent value.We stayed three days and started each with the great breakfast that kept us going for hours.I highly recommend Abbazia to anyone visiting Venice.

Even though this hotel is located a good 20 min walk from the Piazza San Marco, it has a god location in a narrow alley right next to the train station. Could not hear the trains with the windows closed, a little bit with them opened but nothing bothersome. We had a nice room on the 3rd floor, spacious and clean; the bathroom was vast and had been recently renovated with a jacuzzi-type equipment in the bath. Mattress was a bit old/soft and could feel some springs. The room was overheated and even after we called reception we couldn't figure out the thermostat - ended up opening the windows. Reception staff is very helpful. Good, fair-priced restaurants nearby. Try Brek (2 minutes away) for a good, cheap and quick meal or snack.

This place was great! The staff was exceptional and really made you feel welcomed. It was pretty close to the train station, so once we were in Venice it was a short walk to the hotel. My only complaint is that the rooms could have been cleaner. There were stains on the carpet and it just didn't feel that clean overall. But the whole city is pretty much like that, so...
