This hotel has always been my choice to stay in Rome, until now. My room was filthy upon arrival, the manager refused to accept my gold status, saying that I had not frequented the hotel enough in the past year for perks I am entitled to. There were cigarette burn marks on the toilet tissue rack in a non smoking room. This place has gone down hill. Not worth the cash.

We booked a double/twin deluxe room but there was no possibility of stating we wanted a double bed. We had to switch to a ordinary room to get a double bed

Rome’s best hotel Great hotel. Great location. Big room by European standards. You can walk to all the attractions. Traveler's tip on dining For great pasta at affordable prices go out onto via veneto towards Villa Borghese. Go down the first right turn and go to Fiorentino. Try the Bucatelli Amtriciana - a truly roman pasta and of course everything else you can eat. Avoind the restaurants on via veneto itself, they are overpriced and are tourist traps.

My rate was 409 Euro/night - housekeeping was inconsistent. Maybe we would get new towels (they would at least remove the old ones), maybe we would not. Concierge desk provided rip offs on bus tours. They suggested a 19 Euro/Per person/Per day bus - across the street I found a 19 Euro/Per person/for two days bus - same destinations. One was twice as expensive as the other. Internet access - for the most part was not available - but if it was, was a rip off. Staff at the business office provided an understanding of a Green Line European telephone number at 1 Euro/minute - cost was 4 Euro/minute - that was a fun trick. We were told that the use of an iron in the room would violate the hotel's security policy - you had to send the garment out to be pressed. TV/Internet to the room was down for a day. Ice was only available from room service. Hallways were often littered - for the better part of a half day - with cups, drinks, room service trays - other hotel staff choose not to clean it up. During Check out, staff did not even ask how our stay went, which was probably for the best.

One of the best hotels in Rome. Concierge was able to line up everything we needed in a moments notice.

great location even if you don't stay in this hotel, you want to be very close to it. There's a park just a half block away and the street the hotel is on is lined with neat restaurants in glass cars along each side of the street. You couldn't find a bad meal around here if you looked for one. There's a tunnel at the end of the road that is quite odd. You go down an escalator into what appears to be a subway station, but it's an underground mall that surfaces right into the middle of the park.

+ El personal muy amable, el restaurante impresionante, el hotel - I did not like the attitude of some of the staff at reception. The plug in the bath was not closing properly. Hot water was not always available.

great location Overall a great location, lovely hotel, but you could find a place a little cheaper and be just as satisfied.....as long as it’s a stone’s throw from this place and on the same street. There’s a Marriott a few doors down as well that looks nice. I’d certainly stay here again as long as the price was right.
