The room that was allocated to us was very small in size and though we requested two twin beds, we were given a double-bed.

Rome is a beautiful city & staying in a nice hotel like the Waldorf makes everything perfect. We were there from the 6th of May for a week. The reception staff were very helpful & spoke English. The breakfast was good if you are non-veg; although eating the same food was a bit boring at the end of 6 days.My husband & I found it difficult to find the hotel when we just arrived; as the metro had 3 different exits & we got out of the wrong one & had to walk for 10 mins. We soon found our way around & jumped in & out of the metro thus enabling us to see most of Rome. A guide book on Rome is very helpful. When you reach Cornelia metro station,to reach the hotel, take the left side escalators & go up 3 flights, then get out from the right exit, cross the road, turn left & walk for 2 mins, then turn right at the end of the road, cross the road at the crossing & its the next left.

Excellent front desk service, very kind. The lobby was beautiful and the room was very big compared to 2 other hotels I stayed at in Rome. It was very clean too. The only downfall was it was not centrally located and one had to travel to sights.

The breakfast was very nice and the staff very kind and spoke great English. If you are flying RyanAir early morning flights the only way to the train terminal to catch the Terravision bus to the airport(8 Euro)is via taxi and it cost us 30 euros for 2 people plus our luggage. Our room was very clean and the bathroom facilities were nice. Quiet area at night.

smooth as silk! i wouldn't advise anyone with children to use the open top tour buses in rome if the weather's too hot. my children insisted on sitting upstairs and the heat can be unbearable, especially when the bus comes to a halt. my youngest is 12 and he had no difficulty walking around rome. just keep topping them up with fluids!

This is a great hotel. Returned from Rome yesterday. On my next visit I will definitely be staying in the Waldorf again! The staff were friendly, the rooms spotlessly clean and what a feast for breakfast in the morning! This is without doubt, in my opinion a hidden gem for and of tourist accommodation!

Good base for trip Buy water and other commodities away from hotel and save your appetite as prices are cheaper away from the sites.
