Fantastic Little Gem We went to the Piazza Novona to eat but don't stay in the square go to the side streets, much better service and cheaper for the same meal.

Charming hotel The hotel is charming and in a quiet location. The front desk staff were helpful and the breakfast room very nice. It is near a Metro which is very important as taxis are expensive. But there is nothing around the hotel to walk to or any restaurants, so you must go into town. The rooms are small but the beds are very comfortable. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Go to Trastevere for dinner as it is much less expensive than most other places.

Very good pick buy 3-day ticket for metro& bus for just 11 euros, metro (subway) network is not very dense however bus stops are everywhere and you can easily hop from one to another

Quiet, Comfortable, and Convenient We had a 5 night stay in Rome at Villa Morgagni and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful with excellent amenities and relatively large, by European standards. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of breads, pastries, fruits, yogurt, meats, cheeses, and a few hot dishes. They also will make you a cappucino, which is how every day in Italy should start. We chose the hotel for its high quality, value, and mostly convenience to the metro. It is literally one block away from the Policlinico metro stop. Public transportation in Rome (and outside of the city if you are feeling adventurous) is excellent and the hotel allowed for easy access to all major spots. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel, would recommend it to friends and family, and would stay again when we return to Rome. Traveler's tip on local attractions If staying for a few days, consider getting a Roma pass, which will give you 3 days of unlimited public transportation and entry to 2 attractions (e.g., Coliseum, Borghese Gallery, National Museum, Capitoline Museum) for free and discounts to the others.

Met all expectations Because I read the reviews before deciding on this hotel, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. The staff was very friendly and helpful...no matter how many questions I asked. The location was just right...convenient to public transportation, but a break from the crowds and noise of the center. We will definitely go back! Traveler's tip on dining The restaurant reccommended by the hotel was not too expensive and had free pick-up from the hotel. Must reserve ahead! Also, HardRock Cafe Rome was a reprieve from some of the culture shock. We had a very enjoyable meal there.

Excellent hotel An authentic, friendly and well-priced restaurant just 5 mins walk from the hotel - Ristorante San Grosso I think. The staff at the reception desk known the details.

Not the lowest price on internet. I mentioned during my reservation at hatoels.de. The hotel refused to take this into account and said that this is due to the fact that they can't lower price at all sites on the same time. I think this is irrelevant for me
