The best location possible for people traveling in/out of Termini. We only stayed a night before flying out of FCO in the morning, but it was the perfect location for catching the train in the morning without any hassle.

Good buy for Money. This is a great hotel if you are just using it as a stop over to some other destination in Italy. It is close to the train station and secure. However, watch out for the mosquitoes...there is no air conditioning. It is not totally clean, surface areas are clean but stuff can be seen in the small corners. Good stay for one night only.

A bad option in Rome Close to train station is the only good thing about this hotel. Cleanliness is a question mark. The staff is very inconsiderate.

The worst Italian Hotel in 20 years The room I was assigned had black mold 9x15" in the corners, old dusty spider webs in the corners and shutters full of pigeon foul. The gray towels would be rejected by a carwash for the stiff scratching fibers. The bathroom was so bad I did not shower before my flight to NY. Apolgies to the passenger seated next to me.

Hotel Urbis in Rome, Italy This budget hotel occupies only one of several floors. The hotel location is very convenient and centrally located near Rome Termini Railway Station. The adjacent A and B local subway lines provide easy access for sightseeing. The room I had was comfortable, clean and satisfactorily maintained, although the shower stall was too narrow for larger guests; the same applies to the elevator. There are no in-room safes or separate hotel lock boxes, although the hotel did allow me to secure some items in their own large safe in a small envelope that was provided. Traveler's tip on local attractions Good budget hotel right in the center of Rome, but make sure you shop around before booking.

Considering the cost of this property it is BAD value. No doubt it is right outside Roma Termini station. But then so are many other places. We happened to stay in another B&B in the first part of our vacation and it was far better and cheaper and the same distance as this place. The bathroom here was tiny with the shower right in the front. So it would be wet all the time. The bedsheets and towels actually had huge holes in them. Look around and you'll find something better for sure.

You Get What You Pay For The location of this hotel is perfect to get to just about all of the local attractions. Stay near the Termini Station and you can easily and cheaply get from the airport to your hotel on the train. Then you can walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and others. This location only puts you far from Vatican City. Don't stay at the Urbis, but find something near here.

Excellent for not picky people! Small and charming. Really good for short period (just one or two nights) but if you are not demanding it's the best!
