The Tirreno Hotel is an attractive classical style first class downtown hotel, completely refurbished in 2006.It is well situated in a quite, safe and silent area in the heart of Ancient Rome which makes it an ideal place for tourists. The Hotel is situated in a historical building, since the great fresco*s painter known as *Il Domenichino* was established in these rooms, during his Roman period. We loved it. I will tell others about this hotel. It was not the hotel fault that we did not have parking. Next time we come we will not rent a car. The staff was helpful in telling us where to go and what to see. It was a very pleasant stay.

i hate these guys, they jacked us on our laundry fee for like $250... it came to nearly $10 per sock, ironed, wrapped in wax paper, bow around each article of clothing... come on, seriously, we were washing our underwear, they just took advantage and ripped off a couple college students.... f them!
