Great place to stay at when in Rome for a couple of days. You should be aware of that the bed is a futon (very comfortable) but my mother (age 80) found it very "interesting" getting out of it every morning.I would stay at Soloroma again.

Really nice place with nice people. The location is perfect. David helps you about anything you need. We felt in love with Rome and this is a very good option to stay there.

The location and the view, are just breath taking , and on the roof at night you can see the whole of the city.dave was so helpful . first time here will come again ,for the price and location hard to beat thanks a lot.

This is really using a room in a 2 bedroom apartment. The bed was a mat on the floor, only one towel for the whole stay was provided. The high noise level continued through the night. Unfortunatley David was sick and passed it on to my husband, as we shared his bathroom. David was polite and helpful, and the location to the Vatican was great. I wouldn't recommend this to a mature couple.

Staying with David at Soloroma provides one with a great view of this part of Rome. He is warm and hospitable and goes out of his way to be helpful to guests. I'd be surprised if there were a closer view of the Basilica anywhere in Rome. The room is cozy and cool and offers a nice retreat from the summer sun. David is a computer expert so his internet access is fantastic. I would recommend a stay at Soloroma for anyone who likes to experience culture firsthand and is looking for an extremely convenient location.

David and his girlfriend are really nice people, and offered us a nice welcome. And what a view, not many B&B will be able to tell you that your bedroom has a view on the Vatican! The room is clean, as is the bathroom (shared). It's a noisy neighborhood, but the room itself is quiet. And there is AC in the room, a real luxury during the summer months! A very good point is that they have a laptop in the room, with internet connection, for free! So can check your e-mail whenever you want to, without worrying about any extras you would have to pay. Almost like in a five star hotel ;-) There is plenty of public transport around the corner, the Vatican is within walking distance, obviously. Breakfast is excellent, juice, coffee, fresh fruit, some yoghurt, coffee or tea, bread, eggs (which you have the prepare yourself) etc. So you'll have a good start of the day. One minus though, you better be a non smoke, or be tolerant to smoking. They do leave the kitchen (they only smoke there) window open, so it doesn't really smell and bother, but just be aware that they do smoke! Ask for the key to the roof, you have an awesome view over the Vatican and the city of Rome! Overall, this is a very good B&B, probably the best in Rome when you compare price quality! So don't hesitate, this is an excellent B&B!
