Siviglia Hotel Rome

+ Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english

+ Freindley staff - Police encamped outside hotel 24/7 noisey radio and engine running in ealy hours

Location is very good (close, but not too close, to the main raiway atation - Termini and the city center). Around U can find nice restaurant - not too expensive. A lot of German tourist (sometimes v loudly people). My room was rather old, bed, (arm)chair-destroied. The door - not so difficult to open without keys... They sometimes didn't clean my room. Bathroom needed a renovation.The receptionist seems OK, but one of them call mee a false taxi (, there was no mentioned on the cab it is a taxi, no number, no meter, I paid to much for the taxi to the airport). I'm not going to stay in this hotel anymore.

We had a good stay and is convenient for the metro - a couple of stops from the tourist areas. The staff were helpful. A useful base to explore Rome. Price for Rome was fairly reasonable.

The hotel is located just a few minutes from the train station ( but take just a small suitcase with you ) which is very comfortable if you take the train from the airport. For ladies: it's very safety, a police car parked in front of the hotel the whole time. There must be a ministry near by. And it takes you just 2 stops with the subway to the main attractions like "Fontane di Trevi". The hotel was very clean und our room was quiet as I asked for, but we was under the impression, that everything is a little old and used, what means: the bed, the furniture and the breakfast room seems to be a little second-hand, but with the typical Roman flair we loved very much. Everything has its price ! But be on time in the morning, after 09.59 a.m. there is no more chance to get a breakfast. Besides the service lady is very indignant about you and there is no coffee shop around the corner. In total: we was happy with the hotel for our short stay and would come again.

+ Hotel siviglia is within walking distance of termini station. it sits on a relatively quiet corner. the room was clean. the staff was helpful. - There is an unavoidable short flight of stairs to get to the elevator--very inconvenient if you have luggage. the elevator was extremely small, barely enough for two people and two suitcases. the rooms were clean, but dimly lit. there was no personal safe in the room. the tv was very small and the reception was poor. there were no toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc.) in the bathroom.

Floor in the room was not cleaned even once during 9 days stay. No foreign tv-channels, only Italian! Guests wants to listen at least news in English. Missed some vegetables for breakfast.

We were in the Eliseo hotel, but we don`t know why? There was only one problem: nobody new in the Siviglia hotel, where is our taxi. Then the taxi driver told us, to call the hotel, because they wanted to speak with me. But it`s ok, we were in Greece already, so we know the people.

+ The hotel staff were pleasent and helpful. very nice breakfast and selection was good. we will stay again next time.
