1 week was not enough. Front desk anticipated my every need. Arrived back late one night as resteraunt was closing, but "waiter" took the order, and 'disappeared' for about 30 minutes, and returned with wonderful delicious dinner. Found out he had cooked it himself as chef had already left for the night! Food, service, hospitality, friendliness of ALL staff beyond compare. ALWAYS smiling, helpful, gratuitous. Can't wait to return!

Size Matters Harry's Bar on V. Veneto and La Tavernetta, both nearby, were both great. Afternoon lunch or drinks from the terrace of the Splendide's restaurant on Via Pinciana or from the terrace of Casina Valadier, in Villa Borghese, make for spectacular views.

Needs updating!! Rooms small, the best part was the staff & location to the Via Veneto % Spanish steps , Borghese Park. Way too much money...our T.V. was broken. They had one computer for the guests to use in the main lobby, but had some Swiss Service computer contract & was unable to get on AOL !! I had to go 3 blocks away to a tacky Internet cafe!!! Hotel needed up-dating, again the breakfast was just O.K. the eggs were processed watery disgusting!!!

Excellent Choice for Rome Sightseeing Really good location for the Spanish Steps (about 10 minutes walk away), hotel staff excellent relly helpful and the roof terrace gives the most spectacular views over Rome. For some reason no one seemed to use the terrace when we were there but they would have missed out. Drinks a bit pricey at £8 for vodka and tonic but worth the cost for a great view. Rome is everything I thought it would be, fantastic sights, atmosphere and expensive for drinks although food is very reasonable at around £7-8 for a pasta dish in most restaurants. We walked everywhere and only took a taxi once so the hotel is ideal for walking to the Collosseum, Vatican and all the sights, allow a day for each to take in the atmosphere.

The staff seemed preoccupied and not very helpful. The room, while large, had a terribly uncomfortable bed with sheets and blankets that were scratchy and felt like burlap. No turn down service The room had no AC or bathroom fan so every shower...

The room was comfortable enough. However, our room was adjacent to the elevator (519),and was very noisy. The location was very central to sites within walking distance, as well as the Metro for more distant attractions.

Would not recommend We stayed at the Hotel Savoy in April 2008. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the ground. I asked for a mattress change twice and it was never done. The location is good but there are other hotels in the area that I would recommend before I stayed at this property. The staff was not very friendly.
