Royal Santina Hotel Rome

+ We were only there for one night on business - great location, clean room, comfortable bed! - No smoking room smelt smokey hotel a bit dated but altogether a good stay

+ Location was key! We had a short stay to catch an early flight out and the buses for Ciampino are right outside the door! Great also for the Termini and Metro. Breakfast was nice, regular european style breakfast... Staff gave a great recommendation for

The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, giving us a really good recommendation of where to eat when we mentioned that we wanted to go the Trastavere area. The rooms themselves need a little TLC but they were clean. The hotel is ideally situated near the Stazione Termini which makes it easier to get to from Ciampino Airport using Terravision and using the very reasonably priced local buses instead of Tour buses

+ A bit expesive - Same breakfast every morning

+ location - The only thing that was not very good was the matress on the bed but you are never happy with anything other than your own bed.

+ Hotel in the center or rome and very easy to get around. all buses and trains just 2 minutes away. - There is no wirles internet available in the rooms and although there is a small resturant this did offer even half of what the menue advertises. breakfast also was very poor and if you want the luxury of a 4 star hotel this is not the one for you. i feel that the 4 stars are for the position of the hotel and not the quality of services offered.

For what it is, it's location and the fact that this is Rome, Royal Santina is not a bad choice for a brief stay in the city. It's location, just a matter of a few steps from the train station is excellect. Overall quality, for Rome is OK. I would stay here again.

+ Great location. it is about 50 meters from the train station and from bus stops. also, there are restaurants and grocery stores within 200 meters. the breakfast menu is great. - Rooms are quite small, considering the price we paid.

+ Clean room, excellent bathroom facilities and hot water for showers etc. - Lack of service. Hotel staff blankly refused to assist me to make an international phone call when I really need to make one.

+ It was very near to the termini station - actually right at the side of it - but not noisy - you can walk it in 2 minutes - not necesary for a taxi or anything. you could leave your luggage & the staff were reasonably helpful - Air conditioning was poor - but have discovered tah that is teh norm for italy
