This is a particularly nice, small hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly service. The location is very convenient for access to the Metro and to Universita di Roma Tre.

Royal Home is conviently placed and once we had figured out the buses the hotel was well placed for getting into the centre of Rome. The local resturants round the hotel are also very good. One point to note is that if you are a light sleeper then this hotel may not be for you as the metro line is right next to the hotel & therefore when the trains are running there is a lot of noise - unless you keep your windows closed. It did not bother us - in fact it ensured that we did not spend half the day in bed and actually got up in time to enjoy breakfast.

Good alternative to usual hotels. Tube station and restaurants very near. It made our stay in Rome very convenient. Thank you.

Hospitable reception. Receptionists speak English quite adequately. Clean room, good bathroom facilities. Nice breakfast. Although the B&B is located close to the metro line the noise level in our ground floor room was quite low because of excellent double glass windows. Warmly recommended.

We had our 2yr old with us and would not reccomend hotel to people w/small children. Comments by other customers gave us impression that this was family run home, more than a hotel. I don't see what the difference was between this and average 2 or 3 star hotels we've stayed in. There is traffic from street + metro and I did NOT see a park. The manager wanted to charge extra for the bed even though their website says 1 child/room free. The women working in their breakfast room were very kind, but the men at the front desk were either rude or apathetic. Not what we expected.

Everything as expected, except the ease of movement to the city centre at night. During the day the metro is very close (1 minute walk), but since it closes at 11.30 at night, you cannot get back to the hotel after dinner unless a) you take a taxi (quite expensive) or you board the 40N bus (metro replacement at night), which does carry some less-than-wholesome types. The marvelous cathedral of S. Paul is just cross the road, though. It does make up for the surroundings :-)

It has been 4 very nice days in Rome. The area around the hotel is not the best but the connection to the public transport is very good. Only one bad thing we mentioned and this was the public transport after 11:30pm its nearly immpossible to come from downtown home. Taxis are NOT available at that time eather. But all in all it was a very intresting time!!!

Considering the price level of hotels in Roma I would say we were in the right hotel at the right price and right location. Managers and employees of hotel very professional. To be fussy I would add that the place is a little bit noisy (traffic)for people like me,leaving usually in the countryside. Access to metro-transportation is ideal. It is the first time we spent 4 days in Roma as tourists. We plan to go back in about 4months in the same hotel: so many wonderful places to visit!! Italians are nice and welcoming people, not mentioning the food. Do not wait, just go !

Rooms were neat clean and tidy. Cleaned daily. Continental breakfast was good with a choice of fruits, cereals, pasteries, juices etc. Location was on the transportation route via bus or train into the city core. Local neighborhood was excellent for browsing, shopping, internet, long distance calls, groceries etc.

Very clean, modern rooms and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient - about 50 metres away from the Metro terminal - so is easy to get into town (its also directly opposite the spectacular Basilica San Paolo). A fair number of 'local' places to eat in the vicinity. The only negatives are that the rooms are fairly small and there is a bit of noise from the Metro if you leave the windows open (its well insulated otherwise). The rooms have airconditioning. Overall I was very happy with it. I will be staying there again.
