Great water pressure in the shower! Older place, older carpet, beds, furniture. No soundproofing on windows. Close to city center. Nice staff, great price.

Marvelous Rome Hotel The Time Out Guide is invaluable.Consider getting a Roma Pass to save money on transport and museums.Or a ticket to cover several bus journeys. It's worth getting a map in large print, and a bus map too.Don't hesitate to ask the reception staff for advice. Take a phrase book and practice your Italian!

Everything was o.k.. But I was sad to find out that one day later the same hotel only cost EUR 720 for the week. And we had to pay EUR 895.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful Reception desk exceptional. would have liked a TV with one British channel for people too lazy to learn the Italian language. Bar contents very limited.Period decor of hotel made you think Peter Sellers would be coming down the lift any time.

From the first to the last prompt, courteous email to the Priscilla 2, we have nothing but praise for the establishment and the people who work there. They added so much to the beauty and wonder of Rome. Beginning at the front desk, the people were so nice, helful and cheerful that they made our daily ventures easier and happier as we stepped out the front door and into the heart of shopping, dining, and a marvelous transportation system to "everywhere." The breakfast was just right, and the daily maid service was excellent. By American standards, the room was small for a three-star hotel, but it was adequate for a home base for exploring. We especially appreciated the nice big tiled bathroom, and the quiet location of our room. We have recommended the Priscilla to our local travel agent for their future customers.

The only issue we had was when we booked a car (booked at the hotel) to take us to the airport the agreed price was €50. They took us to the main airport by mistake & then charged us an additional €50 to get to the right airport. We had no option but to pay as we were running late. Other than that we were very pleased with the hotel & thank them for a good service.
