Cramped, stinky and very noisy if your room overlooks the driveway. This place needs a major renovation to get it out of the 60's when it was probably a nice place. My two days stay was more than enough!

I stayed a few nights here in May 2002 with a group from school. The room was barely big enough for the three of us plus our luggage. The closest thing to walk to was a gas station about half a mile up the road. The staff was very helpful! Being from the US, my Italian is not very good, but they spoke excellent english and did not make me feel like a fool trying to speak Italian! It was perfect for what we needed. If you are just passing through, do not plan on being in your hotel much, and want to drive instead of walk, this would be a good place to be.

We spent 5 nights at the Princess and thought it was OK for what we were looking for. We toured Italy's shrines starting in Venice and criss-crossing the country. The Princess was a respectable 3 star hotel. Clean, friendly and a value. I found the younger front desk staff to be especially helpful - particularly with directions and translating.

I am from Greece, I visited Rome in November 2004 and I stayed in this hotel 4 days. I had a very bad experience. My room looked like a stable (cold, dirty, very-very old), the food was bad, but the most important was the behavior of the people who working there!!

The hotel was nearly impossible to find. We had the hotel's phone number, and they would give us partial directions and then tell us to "call back." The employees were rude and unhelpful, and it was too long a walk to the nearest train. They had shuttle service, but it stopped at 5 p.m. The room itself was fine, though, with clean bathrooms.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel looks much better on photographs. The furniture was pretty old.

very small room, even smaller shower, had requested double bed-got 2 twin beds, quite aways from the city of Rome. Not worth the 110euros per night(we stayed 2 nights after our 3night tour price expired. Not worth the $325USD spent for the extra 2 nights. Will look for better hotel on next visit to Rome. Rome itself was just incredible!! Had a fantastic time inspite of this overpriced hotel.
