Planet 29
Via Gaeta 29 Int. 3/5 - 00185 Rome
The 2 star Planet 29 Hotel is located on just 5 minutes walking distance from the main railway station Roma Termini in Rome, the city’s central nucleus for public transport and a very central location. From here you can reach nearly every corner of the city on the city’s buses and metro, not to mention a bit further afield by train for a day trip to Pompeii to see the ruins buried under ash from Vesuvius. The area itself is very central and quiet. In the surrounding area you can admire the wonderful Piazza della Repubblica and the Ancient Roman ruins of the Dioclethian Baths. Michelangelo's Basilica degli Angeli is also very close and worth a visit. For those who want to check out the Italian capital’s fashionista boutiques, the shopping area of Via Nazionale si very close as well. There are many points of interest too numerous in number to mention them all.Housed in a 19th Century building, the hotel welcomes its guests in a comfortable, clean, quiet environment enriched with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The rooms come in singles, doubles, twins, triples and quadruples (single and double bed combination for the latter) and are colourful, making the guest feel at home in their stay in beautiful Rome. Each room has a TV, air conditioning, heating, fans and wireless internet. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about all things Rome. They will tell you anything you need to know from restaurants and sites to visit to the busiest night spots. Silent, bright and nicely furnished rooms in central Rome!

The room was sufficient and we had a nice view of the cafe opposite from our room. The place is well kept and clean and the toilet is sufficient as well.

A well-located, cheap, airy hotel room. Its basic, but clean, comfortable and convenient. It's all you need when you're on a city break.

I am very satisfied with the place, the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is perfect for travelling which made our life much easier. The train station is just walking distance and was so comfortable to come and go to the airport and catch a train when we travelled to other Italian towns without catching a bus or taxi. Also the centre wasn't so far away. The only remark is maybe that a fridge and a water boiler (or a shared kitchen) would have been very useful, as I had trouble to eat by hand, drink from bottle, and eating melted cheese, hams for breakfast with own made luke warm coffee from tap water for the morning. However it was good for the business of the cafe shop just next to the building what we visited every morning. But alltogether really happy with the place and would go again.
