Hotel under repair with scaffolding all round as a result of which we could not open or see out of bedroom window which was shuttered. Our room was therefore in permanent artificial light. This was not made clear before booking. Breakfast OK but hot dishes limited and not great. All in all this hotel was acceptable but not 4 star.

+ Nice location and great breakfast. I read other reviews that made me wonder if it would be ok, but all was well. Staff was very freindly and helpful. Good food around the area and well within walking distance for younger people to all of the sites. Woul

The staff were very friendly, the room clean and the breakfast extensive. It was an easy walk to the colosseum and on the way you pass several good, reasonably priced eateries. It was a bit near to the station where con artists did try to pickpocket us. They didn't succeed as there were 4 of us. A good location if in a group and we weren't put off but be warned.

Good hotel. Within walking distance of most of Rome's attractions. No complaints at all.

+ Thought the hotel was extremly well situated and the that the staff were excellent - Jacuzzi did not work and the room we were allocated was a bit noisy although the hotel did say that we could change rooms as soon as an inside room became available apart from that hotel was really ok

This beautiful hotel was sooo close to the train station (good for those flying in and going other places by train). The staff was soo courteous, friendly, professional. The terrace breakfast area was beautiful as were the rooms. This is Europe..rooms are smaller, but very efficient. Love the tile everywhere. We were right on the main street side, but with the shutters and windows was pretty quiet. Loved opening them up and watching the morning Rome traffic. Staff was EXTREMELY efficient, professional, and helpful. Concierge even found an English-speaking physician for an ailing member of our family. The whole experience was great!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone...for us, it was a treasure!!!

this was a most comfortable hotel in an area very handy to the main railway station which now has lots of shops and services.also in walking distance to the main bus station which is just opposite railway station.only minus is that you need to be aware of pick pockets in this area but that probably goes for most of rome
