Very good hotel in the right area of Rome There are lots of places to eat very close to the hotel, catering for all tastes. If you like your food this is the area of Rome to stay in.

Dirty Hotel - Dont stay here! This was by far the worst hotel weve ever stayed at! We reserved a room with a king size bed and were given a room no bigger than a closet with a twin bed. When I complained, we were upgraded to a larger room...

Due to plumbing problems, we were not given a room at this hotel, but were sent to their sister hotel, Aleph, nearby. However, it is not what we expected: Palace is traditional, Aleph is very modern/trendy.

We stayed at this hotel in 2006. We were two couples travelling and booked two double rooms for three nights. We warned the hotel that we would arrive at about midnight directly from the airport. We arrived considerably tired. The rooms they...

We arrived at Boscolo very early in the morning, before check in time of noon and although the staff quickly took our bags (the porters were uniformly excellent and very nice), the main person at the desk could not tell us when we would be able to get into our room. We then left and went sight seeing and on our return after noon (noon is the check out time), we were again told that the rooms were not ready. We waited in the bar area, which was not very comfortable. No one came to inquire until the barman called for us (he was also very nice). About 1:30 we were told that one room was ready. Perhaps this had something to do with New Year's Eve the night before. But, we kept on having to call down about the other room. The rooms vary somewhat in size, it seems that the rooms on the Via Veneto on the 3rd floor are larger than the rooms on the side street, but there was no street noise and the rooms were very elegant, spacious and the bed very large for a European hotel. The closet was huge. The bathrooms were well fitted out but each had some wear problems (loose toilet and seats). The breakfast is certainly not worth 15 euro if it is not included in the room price (I called ahead and confirmed that the breakfast was included). There is only cereal, yogurt, bread stuffs, meats and cheese, no eggs or hot foods. The night staff, especially Stephanie is very good and she booked some restaurants for us and was very pleasant and helpful, as was the manager, Giuseppe. The location is great. This is my second time to Rome and I would consider returning to the Boscolo if the price is right. We also stayed the last night at the Boscolo and they booked our car and were very helpful and stored our extra bags at no charge. We stayed on the fifth floor that night. The rooms faced the front and had lovely french doors with terraces with views of the city, but the rooms were a bit dirty (around the doors) and slightly smaller (because of the terraces, but still large for

Location, Location, Location... Very elegant looking hotel, the entrance was beautiful...the staff were very helpful and friendly...room was very clean and bathroom facilities excellent, we didn`t eat in the hotel as we preferred to explore, but the restaurant looked lovely...it was very very hot during our trip and the air-con wasnt 100% efficient so night times were a bit uncomfortable... the hotel, we thought, was in a great location although the gradient from Barberini Piazza up to the hotel entrance might not suit all..
