Overall the hotel was adequate. We could walk to the Vatican which was important to us, the price was right and we could park our car without charge. Our room was clean and pleasant enough but the street noise was loud; there didn't seem to be a room that one could escape it. The common area downstairs could have been kept cleaner. Walking to the Vatican was OK as far as distance but the streets nearer the hotel were ill-kept. The hotel and buildings surrounding the hotel are modern in comparison to the charm of the older buildings a few blocks closer to the Vatican.

This is an economy hotel on a busy city road. It accommodates economy tour parties. So you have to take your chances at meal times when they all appear at once and you may get a room at the front overlooking the main road. Not worth risking in the tourist months but probably a reasonable cheap gamble in the winter.

The air conditioner wasn't turned on so had to have the window open, but the traffic noise was so loud we had to sleep with ear plugs. There were a couple of instances where people had tried to leave us messages but we didn't receive them, possibly just a language problem.

The hotel was located very convenient to the Vatican and the Metro. No internet access was very dissappointing. The meal served in the hotel restraunt was very generic...not very Italian.

Too noisy with non-isolating windows. No electric plugs available. Old generation robinets in the bathroom.

Hotel was fine, clean etc however room was very noisy with traffic very loud all day and night, double glazing might have helped. We wanted ironing done or to borrow iron, staff were very unhelpful with regard to this and we spend holiday very creased.
