I stayed in a clean room that overlooked the street, (room 215). The room had A/C and a refrigerator with cold drinks. The hotel has an ice machine in the lobby. The TV has about 15 channels but the reception was poor. Several of the stations were English speaking. The room is equipped with a safe. I ate at the hotel restaurant my first night and was not impressed at all. Breakfast is served between 7am to 10 am and was very good. My dates there July 12-15, 2004.

Location only. Not a 4 star hotel. Old and yucky.“This hotel is overrated. I was very disappointed in it. Location is good for Vatican City, however be aware that I would consider this a 2 star hotel.”

Convenient location, new windows stand in contrast to the old rundown hotel for our thankfully short stay.Dirty, moldy, noisy, thin walls, pretty much fits in with the rest of Rome.“If you like self rated second-rate wannabe 4 star hotels you found...

Lobby and breakfast were nice.Bed was terribly uncomfortable, no alarm clock, wake up call was not given.“The staff were not very eager to help with anything. The mattress was old, sunken, and very uncomfortable. No alarm clock. The TV was tiny.”
