The Hotel was easy to find and exactly where we expected from maps. Loads of good restuarants nearby. Walking distance of Trevi/Steps/Metro. The owner made himself known and was extremely nice and helpful. Some staff were more helpful than others. Because decor was minimalist, lots of hard surfaces and not much soft furnishing, noise travelled easily between rooms/floors. Biggest downside was no courtesy tray in room for a hot drink, we understand this is usual in Italy. Suggest to anyone going that you take travel kettle, teabags etc., Seemed expensive compared to some UK standards but average for City Centre accommodation when not part of package deal.

We stayed in Rome for 3 days. The hotel was extremely welcoming and helpful. we took their advice on some restaurants, and both were excellent. The rooms were lovely ans spacious and the atmosphere very relaxed. The hotel was centrally situated ans we practically walked everywhere but when tired the metro line was just at the end of the street. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Rome.

This was our first time in Rome, and we found it a bit hard to find the hotel the first time--the road looks like a lane, not a front street. Our room (402) was small but adequate, and had a nice balcony fronting on the courtyard which was very quiet. (

This was our first time in Rome, and we found it a bit hard to find the hotel the first time--the road looks like a lane, not a front street. Our room (402) was small but adequate, and had a nice balcony fronting on the courtyard which was very quiet. (We've heard that all Rome hotel rooms are small). We saw that 401 had a larger room and shower, but no balcony. It is an easy walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain and there are lots of shops and restaurants within a few blocks. We chose it because of it's location near a metro stop (2 blocks away) and we found this convenient to get to the Colleseum and the Vatican and to transfer to the Termini train station. This saved us alot of money on taxis; however, I would recommend you travel light if you plan to do the same.

Rooms and hotel were immaculate, staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was a little dissapointing, although the coffee was very good. Location was also excellent, with some very good and reasonable restaurant recomendations by hotel nearby.

We stayed in a double standard on the back of the hotel. It was quiet, but the room/bathroom were very small (but I think this is normal for Rome). The breakfast was good, the rooms were nice and very clean. Locaiton was good. They didn't seem to have any bellman service - we had to carry our own bags from the taxi into the hotel and up to the room ourselves. If I stayed again, I would upgrade to a larger room.

This is a realy lovely hotel. Near everything but also our rear room was quiet just looking out on to the patio, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, the breakfast's great, bed comfy, what more can you want.
