I stayed here back in 96 after my buddies Wedding. Great location, excellent service. I loved waking up and looking at the colliseum. I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which was great for a single traveler like myself. The staff was extremely helpful in giving directions, and tolerating broken Italian.

The hotel staff was amazing AM & PM shift. Thanks Simona for everything. This was my first trip aboard and they made this American traveler feel at home. My friends on the other hand, didn't have good luck. Their accommodations were at another hotel and things didn't workout for them, so they came over to Mercure Delta. The staff made it happen; so, accommodating for last minute reservations. Also, this hotel is right down the street from the Coliseum and near the train station. I was very pleased with the service, food and room – overall FIRST-RATE!!!

The room was substandard and showed signs of wear. The air conditioner did not work properly and after mentioning four times they still could not fix it. They did not have another room to offer us.

I loved everything! The location was perfect, right next to the roman coliseum and many other historical places. I hope to come back someday and stay longer. The service was exceptional and everyone was very helpful and friendly. They even helped me with my embarassing way of speaking italian.

the price was very good for a single room with colloseum view,..i got a good deal and im quite satisfied with it.. i can say this hotel is not for traveller on a budget..but for me everything is ok! cant complaint. nice room, good location, very safe.soundproof are ok.not bad.as long as no noise of the traffic outside and people next door talking..im ok (or mybe its just me in my deep sleep, as others say its bad soundproof). most of the staff are very helpful. Very nice rooftop swimming pool and bar with the colloseum view. The tv program, all are in italian, i only can watch CNN, the rest is i have to pay... Noise from the isle and doors closing .

This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed in Italy. The bed had hair in the sheets when we got there. The guy who was in charge could barely speak English and we never did find where we were supposed to go for our breakfast. He also went in our room when we weren't there. The price was way too much for the quality of the place. We didn't sleep at all because of the noise and weird feeling we got about the other people staying in the other rooms. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a 4 StarHotel - the Roomservice was horrible (cleanness of the room, floor was never cleaned, CHips boxes from the customer before us during 7 days not cleaned away, windows were opaque), one day the room wasn't ready at three o'clock pm

Very close to the Colleseum. The rooms are modern with all the amenities. Very nice rooftop bar with view of the Colleseum. Air conditioner did not cool the first two nights, but was serviced and cooled better on the third night. Might want to bring a fan if you stay here in the summer. A bit expensive for an American on a budget.

Great hotel for tourists. We stayed for 4 nights, and it was our first trip to Rome. Good location. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good choice for breakfast and efficient service. Rooms are quite small, but with a good view of Colloseum. Our bathroom was a bit old - the hairdryer hose was split and completely broke on our last day! Swimming pool was freezing, so probably only used in a heatwave! But overall a good base for a short trip to Rome.

+Mostly everything -The key continually stopped working resulting in going to the hotel room then having to trudge back to reception to have it reactivated. This happened six times in five days.
