This place was a nightmare. A scary neighborhood, only icecold water in the bathroom (Shower), dirty and overpriced and terribly noisy! This place was about 50% (about 970 SEK) more expensive than the two other places in Rome (600 SEK) and Naples, we stayed on our trip to Italy and it is definitely the worse. I wouldn't stay there another night, even if it was for free!

The Max is located close to Termini Station, which is good for touring the city. However, we did not know that the Max hotel was a third floor hotel when we booked it. On arrival the lift was out of service and caused us considerable discomfort climbing three flights of stairs with suitcases.

For this price it was convenient, the staff was very kind. Only the breakfast was very poor, I could better say: we got a good coffe in the morning. The facilities promoted in the internet are not true: there is no internet access, no coctail bar, no haidryer, the lobby is very small, and they do not purchase any tickets for events or museums.

Max Hotel is well situated for anyone gettting off the Terravision coach from Ciampino airport and for Roma Termini Station. Therefore for anyone who intends to travel further afield in Italy it is the ideal accommodation choice. The staff are friendly and the desk is attended throught the night (for late arrivals). It is a no frills hotel but it is clean, staff are friendly and it is competitively priced.

This hotel is very handy being only 100m from the main railway station. The rooms are clean and big enough but noisy if you're on the main street. The breakfast is pretty pathetic but it's cheap so you can't complain.

Super close to the train station. Simple, clean rooms. We left early to catch a plane, and didn't get to have breakfast - as it was not available yet.
