Good and bad This is a very nice, new hotel. Very clean, comfortable, etc. Bad: The front desk staff act like they are doing you a favor and all seemed to have an attitude for some reason. Also, the hotel is not well marked and very hard to find. You can see it, but cannot find the way to get to it. They definitely need to place some directional signs on nearby streets. Not convenient to downtown Rome, but we found it very convenient for our early flight the next day at FCO. Traveler's tip Stay here for easy access to airport.

This was a disappointing place to stay at. The shuttle only dropped off at one point and the hotel was far from the city and sights. There is nothing near the hotel such as restaurants, shops, etc. They don't even cash checks there because they aren't set up yet. We couldn't use the spa because the hours were from 9:00 to 7:00. the hours most people would be sightseeing or in meetings if they were staying there for conventions!!! Also, we were told that the hotel charged 15.00 per day for the use of the spa!!!! No complimentary breakfast was offered, but Marriott should consider since they are so far from anything!!! Couldn't us our hot curling brush or flat irons because of the wattage. I would not recommend this place if you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing. Your money will be spent on taxis just to get around!!!!

An Amazing Find This hotel is within minutes of the airport. It is new and is quite beautiful. The pool is magnificent. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was quite good. A great find!

Marriott Rome Park Only complaint that I have about this hotel is that it is a little difficult to find at night- the hotel is at the top of a hill and you can easily see it from the highway but it is not easy to find the correct road and they do not have any illuminated signs to show you the way.

Beutiful rooms; convient to airport. A terrific hotel. Beautiful rooms and accomodating staff. It would be helpful if the shuttlebus service to/from Rome weren’t sold out more that 12 hours in advance. Hotel should provide additional shuttle but service to/from Rome when needed. No shuttle bus service is available to/from airport. This would make a nice addition to their amenities.

Marriot Park Rome The hotel was very beautiful, clean, with modern technology, and in good proximity of the airport. The thing that was disappointing, it is not near anything. They do offer a shuttle to go downtown, which I took advantage of, but there is literally nothing outside of the hotel that you can even walk to. The hotel is on the top of a hill, next to what looks like a corporate Toyota building. If you're not a person who would go outside for a walk to grab a bite, which I am, you'll be fine. The staff was friendly, room service was VERY expensive, but overall all, I had a pleasant stay. Although, I would recommend this hotel, if I go back to Rome, I may stay at the Crowne Plaza that was almost across the street from Vatican City...after viewing the rooms online, of course.
