I returned last night from what was my third trip to Rome and I now know where I'll stay every time I visit again in the future - Le Real de Luxe B&B. The location was perfect - we walked everywhere including to the Vatican which only took about 45mins at a very leisurley pace! We were a group of eight and so I got to see 4 of the six rooms and each was very nicely decorated and of a very decent size. Our room was room three. The bathroom as in the others was of a very high standard, complete with jacuzzi (ask for a room with Platinum Mosaic-) The staff were excellent - very attentative, and recommended some great places to eat, especially in the Trastavere. Usually when my fiance and I go on a city break we book the very best hotel we can - 9 times out of 10 a 5 star hotel. This time we were with friends some of whom were on a budget and that's why we went for 58 Le Real de Luxe , but without a doubt this is where we'll stay next time we go to Rome.

- We stayed in a room next to the kitchen and it was really noisy from 07:30 - 09:30. as we had worked all week, we really wanted a lie-in before heading out for the day. no chance!! we asked to move rooms and were made to feel as though we were being unreasonable. we thought they would at the very least let us off the 10euros they charged us extra for air-con due to the bad experience. no chance. really bad service and attitide from the receptionist. i have never left a negative report after staying at a hotel/ b&b but i felt the attitide of paulina was so bad - i am compelled to write something. would not reccomend!!! find somehwhere else that is much friendlier, in a prettier part of town and that doesnt charge you extras for air-con/to leave your bags/to check-in late.

I loved this place, when we first arrived and saw the building i was a bit confused as you have to go to the 4th floor to reach the reception and then our room was on the second floor, but it really was great! the staff were very helpfull, the breakfast was great, and the rooms really were luxury not at all what i expected to find at a B&B! the location was fantastic, could easily walk to the main attractions and if your not a fan of walking just stand outside the hotel and wait for the number 40 bus... it was so simple! also below the hotel there is a great little pizza restaurant... it was relatively cheap and really nice, the staff were very nice and helpfull in there too, just ask for Francesco! i will return hopefully not too far in the future as i really enjoyed the hotel and my stay in Rome... would recommend it to anyone!

We were very pleased with everything about the 58 Le Real de Luxe. And for tourists, the location of the hotel is perfect.Great hotel, quiet, central and close to most places of interest. Be prepared to walk and you will take in everything.

Almost caught pneumonia with 100% humidity in the room since there was no heating in the middle of winter!!
