Lazzari Hotel Rome
Via Castelfidardo 31 - 00185 Rome
The Lazzari is a well located 2 star hotel in the centre of Rome, five minutes from the central train station, Termini, it is extremely well connected by all forms of public transport (bus, train, subway and tram) making the heart of the city and most of the majors monuments very easy to reach. You will find the hotel located on a quiet street, on the second floor of a 19th century palace in an ideal area for tourism. The hotel rooms are basic and clean with single, double, triple and quadruple rooms on offer, all of which have small, private bathrooms and air conditioning. The double rooms are the only rooms that have double beds, all the others have singles. Breakfast is included in the price of the room. The friendly, multi-lingual staff at the 24 hour reception desk are always on hand to help guests and provide tourist information or recommend one of the many bars or restaurants in the area.Comfortable, quiet accommodation at the heart of the Eternal City!

Accommodation was good, clean, personal was very helpful. The only thing against - I would expect better breakfast. We had every day the same (1pc croissant + drink). Breakfast was served in very small bar with small space and many people. I would expect with respect to the price of the hotel accommodation at least type of "euro Breakfast" (bread, rolls, butter, marmelade, croissant and drinks at least). Anyway I can recommend this hotel as good choice.

The room was tired and in need of refurbishment, but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, although on arrival needed a little questioning re breakfast to get all the necessary information. Breakfast was the down-side of our stay. It was in a small cafe next door run by a most unfriendly person and consisted of a cup of coffee and a small croissant (same every day).

Good location, reasonably close to Termini. Friendly staff, the room was big and clean. The main downside was the breakfast: it was a voucher for a cafe bar next doors that was to be exchanged by a croissant and a cup of coffee. I guess it is too little for a hotel breakfast. Restaurants and shops nearby.
