+ Ideally situated for sightseeing as it was walking distance to most sites and also termini station was only 5 mins away. it was also far enough away from the station to be away from the more seedier areas. the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. the room was cleaned daily. the bathroom was fine and the bath was big enough for me to soak in (and i'm not on the small side !!!)after a days site seeing. the air con worked and was very good, we didn't have to pay extra for it as was read on some review. the breakfast was continental, however you could have as much as you wished, although come 10am they cleared away very quickly. there were many restaurants in the vicinity but by far the best was literally next door to the hotel, it was reasonably priced and the food was very good. the waiter, alam, was more than helpful and very courtious, i would recommend a visit. all in all the good hotel, and the restaurant helped make our 5 day stay in rome very pleasurable and i wouldn't hesitate using the verona again when we return to rome in the futre.

Verona a Solid Purchase Room was a bit tight, so if you are a larger person, this may not be the hotel for you. Right off piazza de Santa Maria Maggiore, Hotel Verona was 3 blocks form Termini station, so 25 min. from pretty much anywhere in Rome. My room far exceeded my expectations. Clean and sharp with a helpful, multilingual staff.

Nice hotel Watch out for street sellers! They can be forceful at times and we were forced to buy expensive thread bracelets after we were caught off guard and they were tied around our wrists unwillingly.
