Hotel Trevi

Hotel Trevi

Vicolo Del Babuccio 20 21 - 00184 Rome

Location. Consisting of a pair of 19th century palazzos at the intersection of two quiet, narrow streets, the Hotel Trevi is set back from the crowds going to and from Rome's famous Trevi Fountain, 100 metres away. Rome's Fiumicino Airport is 30 kilometres away, while Ciampino Airport is 24 kilometres away. Hotel Features. Because virtually no pedestrians use the streets outside the hotel, guests can relax in peace on wrought iron benches flanked by potted plants. The top floor roof garden, where American buffet breakfasts are served, is another quiet haven. The roof garden's floor to ceiling windows provide views of terracotta tiled rooftops and a partial view of Italy's presidential residence, Palazzo dei Quirinale. Guestrooms. Hotel Trevi offers 46 air conditioned guestrooms and junior suites in two six storey buildings on opposite sides of a narrow street. Amenities include safes, dial up Internet connections, minibars, and satellite television. Rooms have high ceilings, yellow walls, blue carpets, matching fabrics, and dark wood furniture, including desks. Tiled bathrooms contain walk in showers. Expert Tip. Città dell' Acqua, an archaeological site adjacent to the hotel, is an underground excavation of ancient Roman residences. A 2 EUR entrance fee (subject to change) permits a visitor to go on a self guided tour up and down metal stairs to see how Romans once lived. Amphorae, statute parts, and other artifacts found on the site are displayed.

We were placed in an apartment 2 minutes walk from Hotel in an amazing historical building. Breakfast at the Hotel roof garden was really nice too. Friendly staff, great location.

Great Recommended by the concierge staff: da Gasparone, on via in Arcione, a short amble away. Nothing fancy, but good basic italian food. The carpaccio (raw meat) dish was simple but great, and the pasta dishes basic but tasty. Cost very reasonable. House wine good too. Staff very friendly.

Our stay at Hotel Trevi in August 2005 was thoroughly enjoyable. The location was ideal for a walking tour of Rome, and the staff both friendly and helpful. On arrival we were shown to the Pantheon Suite, a superb two storey room to accommodate three adults (2ladies 1 gent)which was located next door to the hotel. We had our breakfast, bread, pastries, cakes, assorted cereals, fruits, yoghurts, meats and cheese, on the roof terrace of the hotel, a superb setting. I would like to visit Rome again next year and hopefully be able to stay once again at the Trevi.

Average hotel, great location Don't buy tickets in advance for Colesseum or Vatican and instead get them of the tour guides that wait around outside the attractions. Costs about 10euros more than ticket face value but you get a fab guide and can skip the queues.

Excellent location, very friendly & helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite. The only problem was there was no elevator in the building with the suites but the good thing was that there was a bellboy who carried our luggage. The rooms were rather dim, s

great location and goo facilities The hotel was lovely as a base for exploring Rome. It is fairly basic with no restaurant but there are many in the very nearby streets. The room and bathroom were both very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were multilingual and very helpful - offering to arrange tours for us and stored our bags before check in so we could go siteseeing.

We were very pleased with everything at Hotel Trevi. The location is excellent. We walked comfortably to all of the old city sites. The rooms were adequate, a typical Rome hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful variety of foods. The staff was extremely accommodating, always pleasant, offering assistance with directions and reservations. Sonya was particularly helpful. We would return to Hotel Trevi and recommend it to other travelers who are looking for a truly accommodating small Italian hotel.
